October Birchbox

My October Birchbox arrived today! Does it seem like to anyone else that I just got my September one?

FYI: This post was started on 10/11, and I'm just now finishing it. Sorry.

Wow.

That happened fast. Just another sign that time goes by so much faster these days. Christmas will be here before I'm ready, that's for sure!

Open, Sayz a meee!
This month's box has a Prep & Finish theme.

Of all the things I saw upon opening the box, I was most excited about this product. I just so happened to be on my last few squirts of my current foundation primer and I was in need of some new. I loved that this one was tinted, which is the one thing I would change about the bareMinerals one. However, after sampling this almost every day since I received it, I'm pretty sure it's breaking me out. My skin had been clearing up since I started the oil cleansing method, and I had a few days of clear skin. Once I started using this, though, my breakouts have returned. I am going to keep using it, though, (durrrrr....) because I have so little of it left. I just want to make sure. If I never clear up before the bottle is empty, I'm going back to my bareMinerals oil-free Prime Time.
Sorry, Ms. Geller. I really wanted to love your product.

I haven't tried this next product, the Intense Radiance Mask. I plan to this week, though, while the Hubs is away on a golf trip. I get to do all my lotions and potions that I don't want him to see/smell while he's away.

Apparently birchbox things this ol' oily-skinned girl needs more oil in her life. I think every box they've sent me has had an oil product in it. This one is actually for my hair, but I'm still using the Morrocan Oil right now, so this one remains unused, as well. I should break it out, though. Maybe tomorrow.

Here are more samples that I haven't tried.

Winning.

Here it is out of the box. I'm not wild about the color, which is why I haven't tried it.

My closet is seriously lacking in the cashmere department, so this one will go unused for quite a while. I am hoping to get Hubs an argyle cashmere sweater for Christmas, though. I'll get a chance to break this stuff out the first time he wears it, since he can't look at food with it ending up on his shirt somewhere.

Love you, Babe!

Even though I didn't get much use from this month's birchbox, I still really love the service. My little heart goes pitter patter when that little pink box shows up in my mailbox every month. If you want your heart to pitter patter, too, send me an email to TNRepublcn at aol.com and I'll send you a referral. Put Birchbox on the subject line so it will jump out at me.

Ta-ta for now!
